*RECOVERY OF STOLEN PROPERTY AND HOUSE BREAK-IN SUSPECTS*

*OPERATIONAL REPORT*
Following a series of residential break-ins in the Maroelana area, CSI Security initiated an intelligence-driven investigation based on information received from members of the public. During the investigation, several items believed to have been stolen during the break-ins were identified for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Acting swiftly on this intelligence, CSI Security worked closely with the SAPS Organised Crime Unit and the SAPS K9 Unit to plan and execute a coordinated tactical operation.
Within a few hours, the first suspect was successfully located and apprehended during a controlled tactical takedown. The operation was executed safely and professionally, with no injuries sustained by either operational members or the suspect. A substantial quantity of suspected stolen property was recovered from the suspect's possession.
A follow-up operation led to the arrest of a second suspect only a few hours later. During this arrest, the remaining stolen property linked to the house break-ins was recovered. Further investigation established that the second suspect had previously been arrested earlier this week for trespassing in the Waterkloof area.
Both suspects were transported to Sunnyside SAPS, where they were handed over for further investigation and criminal processing.
This successful operation highlights the value of strong cooperation between private security, the South African Police Service, and vigilant members of the community. The rapid recovery of stolen property and the arrest of the suspects demonstrate the effectiveness of intelligence-led operations and coordinated tactical responses.
